I wish I could ve retained information from it So rich in perspective Amazing book for one who is interested in law it required me a lot of writing in order to organize its ideas, but I assume it to be far easier to read if you re in the field Either way, it inspired me to ask myself why and how we organize ourselves as a society and the duties we hold towards it It may seem like a quick read, but is is certainly a long lesson.

We read this for my Law and Literature course It s an allegorical narrative that consists of judicial opinions on a the case It was great for the class discussion, we focused on the nature of the different opinions and the visions they presented It was excellent, I d recommend it to anyone with an interest in the judicial system and legal topics We may get lost in the patterns of our own thought and forget that these patterns often cast not the slightest shadow on the outside world.
