This series always makes for a fun shifter read This book wasn t my favorite in the series, but it was still enjoyable and I ll keep reading them My only complaint is the price I paid 4.99 and it s only a 230 page book That and the fact that I think there are 9 books in this series so far all of which aside from the first book are all listed at 4.99 as well , makes this an expensive series all together.

This was a really good book This is the book 7 in the Ridgeville series this is a funny series and the Mayaism crack me up Tess McCain is the daughter of the ex leader of Freedom she has been through a lot had the hands of her sick murderous father and his friends Harding Granger never expected to find a mate when Mays and Alex asked him to go to Georgia to watch over a handful of women, because Stone the gorilla shifter has a new job This was a really good story Tess was so fearful and afraid to trust anyone and the one person that she did trust wants to hurt her mate Harding wants to protect her from people that want to hurt her inside and outside of the compound Both of them have been damaged at the hands of family members and I think that helped Tess in learning to accept Harding because she was so worried that she would turnout like her father This book was very well written like the rest of the books in this series with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series If you like reading about hot erotic shifter than I recommend that you read this series.

This was the first book of the Ridgeville series that I have read It was a loaner from a friend who thought I might enjoying reading and reviewing the story, and she wasn t wrong Apparently this is number six in a series I did feel a bit lost a few times in the book, as there are references to happenings that I was not familiar with, but I still was able to keep up and enjoy without being frustrated with the book, unlike some series that I have jumped into the middle of.I truly enjoyed the fact that there are many levels to the story Happiness, heartbreak, terror Grinding loneliness and pain that are soothed and overcome by love and family There is a scene near the end of the book that broke my heart the bad guy was just so sad, I wanted to save him, no matter what he had done Overall, this was an extremely creative little paranormal that kept my attention throughout Tess, the heroine, has been to Hell, done the tour, and been left with the scars However, with friends like Maya and Carly, a lion and rabbit shifter funny, huh and a perspective mate who not only understands her pain and her history, but is willing to take his time and allow her to heal, the story is a heart string puller My favorite adjunct character is Maya, the female alpha, or Prima of the pack She has an AWESOME dirty mouth, and made me cackle like a hyena at her antics Overall, this book left me feeling light and cheerful and has put me on track to finding the first of the series and enjoying them all.Recommended for urban paranormal fantasy romance readers.

As you can tell from my review of the first book in this series I really enjoyed reading them While each book brings in new characters, and new issues, the original storyline and the first books couple the Ridgeville Prime Alex and Prima Maya are peppered throughout each individual story There is also lots of little gems of wisdom Prima Maya at the beginnings of each chapter All in all this series was a joy to read, and I imagine I ll read them again and again.

Fantastic Omg this was a total emotional roller coaster of a read, my heart broke in 2 for poor tessa, she defo got dealt a bad blow, but through it all you keep cheering her on and praying it goes her way for once, which she does get her happy ever after, once you start reading you won t be able to put it down

Another good book in a fun series I just love the Ridgeville series All of the books are well written with characters that you want as your own friendswell, maybe Maya in very small well planned doses Celia Kyle has created a world that seems like it could be real, and that, to me, makes for a wonderful escape.

These books are such yummy fun, even when they contain some darker subject matter This one was particularly handicapped in that it takes place after the biggest of the big bad gets killed I was worried that there would be no real tie to the rest of the books, but it delivered Tess is the unofficial daughter of the big bad that was just killed spoiler alert you shouldn t be reading reviews of future books unless you re caught up She s recovering in what amounts to a cell at the compound where she and a few other women were tortured for years Oh, and she s also a mind reader, a sensitive, and a sort of half shifter Harding is one of Maya s few remaining unmated bodyguards and, whether consciously or through a twist of fate, she sends him off to find his mate Send to replace Stone as the women s guardian, Harding follows orders and discovers his mate at first sight Between the two of them, there s a real balance Yes, there s sexy, steamy chemistry, too Turn out Harding has a pretty broken past that rivals Tess s own He quiets her voices and she soothes his inner beast It just takes Tess a really long time for her to leave her big ole pity party long enough to see that Harding is perfect Of course these books are short, but I really wanted time figuring out Harding s past I feel like he didn t get enough in depth time from this installment I still love these books, though They are such a guaranteed fun and naughty time.
