I really liked the premise behind this sweet, yet intriguing romance The author did a great job of creating the personalities of the gangster family and the overall feeling of being in the roaring 1920 s era.Jack Malone is a bigger than life FBI agent who was instantly captivated by the beautiful Maria, who is none other than the daughter of notorious gangster, Antonio Donnatelli When every member of the Donnatelli family except Maria is brutally shot down, Jack takes it on himself to protect her However, he isn t expecting the beautiful woman to also be courageous and independent in spite of her fear and grief Together they find themselves dodging the guns that are hidden throughout Chicago, waiting to take a crack at them.My only issue with the story is that it wasn t long enough It s supposed to be a short story, so I really can t complain However, I think it definitely could ve been stretched into a full length book.

Author Kendall Evans Published By Astraea Press Age Recommended Adult Reviewed By Arlena DeanRating 4Blog For GMTAReview The Gangster s Daughter by Kendall Evan was a very good short romantic read about a FBI agent who was able to save the daughter of a notorious gangster, Antonio Donnatelli The very thought of a gangster family being killed was not unheard of during the 1920 s in Chicago For many reasons this gangster was killed along with his sons but the daughter was left alive. Why was this After Maria s father and brothers had been killed there were still other people who wanted Maria dead especially. Carli Blanchi How was Jack Malonethe FBI agent able to keep Maria safe Was there something going on between Mr Malone and Maria Now, this is where you will have to pick up this short story read of The Gangster s Daughter to find out Will the guy get the girl If you are looking for a quick read then you have come to the right place The Gangster s Daughter I would recommend to you.

I liked this book The setting was great Old Chicago, ran by mafia who pays off the police to get what they need and the FBI trying to save it all but with all the corruption you just don t know who to trust The girl meets the guy The guy saves the girl It s romance at its fullest The only thing is, there s not enough book Like I said earlier, I like the book but if there had been book of it, with detail of the families and characters, this book could have possibly been one of my favorites All the ingredients are there it just needed to be stirred .Anyway, If you like short mafia romance This is your book It s cute Who knows maybe there will someday be a book two and we can find out if the characters are the good guys or the bad guys for the rest of their days Until then, happy reading.

Prohibition and mobster wars have been glamorized by Hollywood, but in this story it focuses on the cold and rougher side leaving the reader with not much empathy for those sinister characters but for their victims.Read full review in the 2012 July August issue of InD tale Magazine.

Not nearly long enough and too fast, but I could have liked it as a full length novel.
